Dal Processing Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Dal Processing Manager to oversee daily operations at a pulse processing unit. The ideal candidate will manage production activities, maintain quality standards, supervise staff, and ensure smooth plant operations while achieving production targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management
* Supervise complete dal processing operations
* Monitor cleaning, grading, splitting, polishing, and packaging activities
* Ensure daily production targets are achieved efficiently
* Reduce wastage and improve productivity

Quality Control
* Maintain product quality as per industry standards
* Conduct regular quality inspections for raw materials and finished products.
* Ensure proper moisture levels, grading accuracy, and hygiene standards.
* Coordinate with quality assurance teams for compliance and testing.

Team Supervision
* Supervise machine operators, laborers, and production staff.
* Allocate duties and monitor workforce productivity.
* Train employees on safety procedures and operational standards.
* Maintain discipline and teamwork within the production unit.

Machinery & Maintenance
* Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
* Monitor the performance of milling, polishing, grading, and packaging machines.
* Reduce operational breakdowns through routine inspections.
* Liaise with technicians and maintenance teams for repairs.

Inventory & Procurement
* Maintain records of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging stock.
* Coordinate with procurement teams for timely material availability.
* Monitor wastage and improve operational efficiency.

Safety & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and factory regulations.
* Implement workplace safety measures and emergency procedures.

Required Skills
