Electrician

Job Summary
The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and fixtures while ensuring all safety standards and regulations are followed. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
* Install and maintain electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting systems
* Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and panels
* Identify electrical problems using testing devices and diagnostic tools
* Repair or replace faulty wiring, equipment, and fixtures
* Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
* Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
* Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards
* Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards or maintenance needs
* Assist in installation of motors, generators, and industrial machinery
* Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
* Coordinate with maintenance teams and supervisors for timely completion of work

Required Qualifications
* ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
* Valid Electrician License/Certification preferred
* 1–5 years of experience in electrical installation or maintenance
* Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures
* Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently
* Familiarity with industrial and commercial electrical equipment
* Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices
