A State Transport (ST) bus traveling on the Udgir–Ahmedpur route met with an accident after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle on a narrow stretch of road. The bus overturned by the roadside, creating panic among passengers and nearby residents. According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when the bus attempted to navigate a constricted section of the road. Due to limited space and uneven road conditions, the driver was unable to maintain balance, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and overturn.
Several passengers were on board at the time of the incident. Local residents rushed to the scene immediately after the accident and joined rescue efforts. With the help of police personnel and emergency responders, passengers were safely evacuated from the overturned bus. The swift action of rescuers prevented what could have been a more serious tragedy. A few passengers sustained minor injuries and received first aid at nearby medical facilities. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. Authorities praised the timely response of local residents, whose assistance played a crucial role in the rescue operation.
