These upcoming models are expected to run on options such as ethanol blends, hybrid systems, compressed natural gas (CNG), biofuels, and hydrogen-based technologies. According to Gadkari, adopting alternative fuels will not only help reduce pollution levels but also lower fuel import bills and strengthen India’s energy security.
